described as "intellectual folk-rock," abby's songs range from poetic stories to political ballads to intense analyses of her place in the world. in 2004, she released her original band's EP, "another breath," to local critical acclaim. in 2005, her song "libby," about the libby, montana, asbestos mine disaster, was accepted on an independent music sampler.
abby's lyrical abilities and organic vocals and guitar make her one of the area's brightest up-and-coming performers. she is currently (still) hard at work in the studio, co-recording and co-producing her first solo album. (thanks to co-captain david thompson for all manner of lent wisdom and assistance, plus ideating, impulsing, and inclinating).
